Engineering Precision. Proven Performance. Built for the World's Fastest Vessels,Surface-Piercing Propulsion Technology for Commercial, Naval and High-Performance Marine Applicationsapplications make us very popular in the market!
TSD surface drive systems are engineered on the fundamental principle of surface-piercing propulsion — operating the propeller at the air-water interface to eliminate submerged appendage drag, suppress blade cavitation, and deliver measurably higher thrust efficiency at speeds above 35 knots. This is not a performance claim. It is the established hydrodynamic physics that has made surface-piercing propellers the propulsion standard for the world's fastest military, customs, and commercial fast craft for decades.
The TSD product range covers engine inputs from 60HP to 1,500HP across thirteen standard models in two installation families — the BG series for deep-V hulls at 45-degree transom geometry, and the BH series for flat-bottom and semi-V hulls at 10–13 degrees. Both series are fully compatible with inboard diesel engines, gasoline engines, hybrid electric drives, and gas turbine powerplants, providing a propulsion solution across the full spectrum of modern fast vessel powertrain configurations.
Every TSD surface drive system is manufactured under ISO 9001:2015/2016 quality management certification and carries ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) and CCS (China Classification Society) classification society approval — the two certification standards most commonly specified in naval, coast guard, and commercial vessel procurement contracts worldwide. Propeller blades and shafts are manufactured from duplex stainless steel (2205 grade, PREN ≥35) for verified resistance to corrosion, fatigue, and erosion in the most demanding marine environments.
Operators across more than 30 countries — including coast guard agencies, customs enforcement fleets, sport fishing operators, and naval procurement programmes — have selected TSD surface drives for missions where propulsion failure is not an acceptable outcome. TSD's engineering team provides vessel-specific technical consultation, 2D installation drawings, and full lifecycle technical support from initial specification through to in-service maintenance.
This certificate is valid to the following scope for QMS: ^DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT AND MANUFACTURE OF MARINE ACCESSORY PRODUCTS (MOVABLE SEMIIMMERSED OAR, FIXED SEMI-IMMERSION OAR, GEAR BOX)*.
