This is a 7.2m long and 3.9m wide catamaran planing boat from Vietnam. Because of the high fuel consumption of the original engine, the customer ended up using a diesel engine. We formulated a plan according to the customer’s ship type and requirements: We chose 2 sets of 150-horsepower diesel engines, 13 liters of diesel per hour, and mobile-style BH500 high-speed surface-driven propulsion. When the installation and trial sailing were completed, the speed reached about 31.3 knots. The customer is very satisfied with this high-speed surface drive propulsion solution.
