About TDS Surface Drive

A pair of TDS surface drivers can lift and steer the body system

The TSD semi-submerged propeller propulsion device has the characteristics of no cavitation, low appendage resistance, shallow draft, high durability, simple maintenance, and high propulsion efficiency. On all types of ships with speeds exceeding 15kn, the semi-submerged propeller system is better than the fully submerged propeller or Compared with other propulsion methods, they have obvious advantages and have become the preferred propulsion methods for new, high-performance, and high-speed boat equipment.

Ship types and engines applicable to TSD semi-immersed propellers

The hull form must be a planing hull type or a semi-planing hull type
Engine type is suitable for diesel engine, gasoline engine, hybrid engine, electric and turbine engine
Power/weight ratio: In order to increase speed, the target speed must be higher than 25 knots compared to traditional propulsion, and the power/weight ratio must be higher than 40 horsepower per ton.
